"Bummer: Don't put your <html> tag before the <!DOCTYPE html>" But I put the <html> tag after the type.
I am receiving the following error but my <html> tag is after the <!DOCTYPE html>

The instructions don't ask for a comment, and it seems to confuse the validator. You should leave that out.
In general, you'll get best results with the challenges if you do only what they ask for.
