HTML Introduction to HTML and CSS (2016) Adding a New Web Page Test: Link It Up Challenge

I need help with this, I put the anchor tags in between the list items and it still isn't correct.

index.html
<!doctype html>
<html>
  <head>
    <title>Al's Restaurant</title>
  </head>
  <body>
        <ul class="nav">
          <li><a href="#">Home</a></li>
          <li><a href="food-gallery.html">Food Gallery</a></li>
          <li><a Menu></a></li>
        </ul>
  </body>
</html>

If I take away the href attribute of the first list item it would look like this:

<li><a>Home</a></li>

which is the format you want for this Menu list item. Mimick that :+1:

That's essentially what I said, but I suppose I wasn't clear enough.

Edit: The <li><a>Home</a></li> part at least, with Home replaced with Menu.

Move the Menu to outside the opening anchor tag.

so should it read, "<li> Menu <a></a></li>"?

Hannah Gray nope, see my answer

Uh no.... it should read <li><a>Menu</a></li>.
