Ruby Track - Wrong Video?

I was doing the Ruby track and accidentally closed the window. When I went back into Treehouse and "resumed the track" it was a completely different video. How do I get back to the video that I was at (it was doing the styling sheets for the site "Smells Like Bakin"). Thanks!

You can get to any course you've worked on by clicking on the home button (top lefthand side).

Did that just happen today? I just want to do the Ruby track, but now when I resume it, it's in the middle of some site that I haven't done before. It's super bizarre.

It happened about a week ago but I only got the swap yesterday.

Ugh that is super annoying.

But thank you for letting me know!

There was an announcement (the little bell in the upper righthand corner by your profile pic) 6 days ago about this.

Yep, got that from Lee.

Still doesn't make it any less annoying.

What would make track updates less annoying in the future?

Not retiring tracks when students are in the middle of it? I have a Mac and just leave the browser open everyday so I don't really check the bell and keep watching the video. So maybe putting a disclaimer over the video and explain how the current track you're on is now changing? Because now I'm on some List video that I've never watched before so it's a bit disorienting.

Makes sense. Tracks that are scheduled for retirement should be marked as deprecated.

Yea, even an email saying "We noticed you're currently in the middle of a track that has videos that are now retired. You can find these in the library now. To continue your track, you should be on video XYZ" or something

Customized emails based on courses that are in progress. I like it!

An email would have been great. I never got any announcement notification and was really confused as well when the intro course just disappeared from the Rails track.
