Python Python Basics (Retired) Pick a Number! Any Number! Imports

Why is my random_num() function not recognized?

I have written the correct function, but it is not recognized.

random_num.py
import random

def random_num(u_b):
    rand_num = randint(1, u_b)
    return rand_num

1 Answer

Ha! Like a boss, forgot reference the library "random" when calling randint(). Had:

rand_num = randint(1, u_b)

instead of

rand_num = random.randint(1, u_b)

All fixed. Thanks guys.
