As a developer/engineer in tombola you’ll be part of a large, diverse community of peers with a full range of experience. We have a unique culture that values personal growth and progression. We provide our engineers with everything they need to develop and progress as technologists. Whether that’s working with our partners (like AWS) to provide job specific training, attending conferences, providing books or setting up the opportunity for mentorship with some of our experienced leaders.

As a graduate you will be given a support network of mentors from around the business (not just engineers) to help you learn and understand our processes and dynamics. If you need to update your address or ask the all-important questions like “What time are the bacon butties served in the café?” – your support network will point you in the right direction (the answer’s around 9am in case you were wondering).

Don’t worry it’s not all work and no play as we love a good old knees up and there’s lots of opportunities for socialising with the rest of the tombola team such as board game nights, virtual poker nights, or food and a few fizzy pops at the local bowling alley.

• Good communication. We’re not expecting you to be super extrovert but being able to express your ideas clearly, talk to non-technical colleagues and give effective feedback during code reviews is really important.?

Salary: £24k
