Marketing Communications Specialist

Overview

The Marketing Communications Specialist is responsible for creating and optimizing collateral for our B2B marketing program. The role reports to the VP of marketing and will work closely with fellow members of the marketing team and inside sales teams.

We are looking for a driven, creative, and collaborative individual to create compelling, informational collateral to equip our sales team. Formats include (but will not be limited to) B2B pitch decks, white papers, case studies, and outbound email campaigns.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the design of B2B marketing materials including pitch decks, brochures, pamphlets, videos and customer presentations

  • Ensure consistent, professional image for all printed / visual materials (aligned with brand strategy)

  • Build and maintain our brand/asset library

  • Collaborate to create external-facing designs to support our product

  • Provide visual assets for internal and customer-facing applications

  • Develop sales materials and tools that effectively communicate our value proposition

  • Network with subject matter experts within the organization to acquire material that may be used to create marketing collateral and thought leadership pieces

  • Research and report on relevant industry trends and best practices; identify opportunities for improving marketing content; stay current with industry best practices and implement strategies to increase reach

  • Collaborate with team members to produce accurate and informative content

Qualifications

  • 2-4 years of related experience, supporting B2B sales team

  • A strong design background

  • Proficient with presentation software

  • Exceptional communication skills with clear, compelling writing style

  • Proven ability to take complex concepts and ideas to create audience-appropriate collateral that is clear, effective, and visually impactful

  • Ability to generate creative ideas that align with brand strategies

  • High degree of accuracy and efficiency

  • Upbeat, positive demeanor. Must thrive in a fast-paced environment

  • Demonstrated organizational skills and thorough follow-through

  • Strong desire to continually grow and learn

  • High proficiency in spoken and written English
