Installing Maya LT0:57 with Jason Baskin
In this video, walk through the process for installing Maya LT on your computer.
If you've already installed Maya on your system, you can skip to the next lesson.
But in this video, I'll walk you through the very simple process for
installing Maya LT on your computer.
As soon as you've completed the purchase process on the Autodesk site, or
the free trial, you'll download a small installation file to your computer.
Double click on the file to run it and
a set up initialization screen will appear with a large install button.
This screen also includes a few helpful links that you may wanna review,
such as the Maya LT system requirements page which provides information about
the hardware you'll need to run this program.
Clicking on the large Install button will bring up one last screen
that allows you to choose the install location for Maya LT.
Most Windows users will choose the default Program Files directory on the C drive.
Click on the Install button again to complete the process.
Once this setup is complete, you'll be able to launch Maya LT from the desktop
shortcut if you're on a Windows system, or from Launchpad if you're using a Mac.
