We're at the end of another course! Thanks for watching and learning with me. If you want to take this lesson further, here are some ideas.
That was a lot.
We built a real world application, or at least the minimum viable version of it.
Any real client would probably want more features than what we've created, and
we'd need to beef up some security and strengthen other areas.
A lot of that would fall outside of the scope of Python though, and
into the world of Sysops.
Some suggestions for taking this further.
Allow users to upload an avatar.
Allow users to delete their account.
Add a method for blocking users, so you don't see their posts.
Add a method for notifying users if they're mentioned in a post.
Add a new level to your users, groups.
Users belong to a group, and
you subscribe to a group's updates instead of a single user.
Or, come up with your own ways of extending the app.
We have a great base here, and I can't wait to see what you make with it
