Project Overview0:57 with Jason Seifer
In this project, we're going to add social features to our Treebook application. We're going to start with friendships!
[Ruby Rapids: Island 2] [Stage 1: Creating Friendships with Jason Seifer]
Hi, everyone! Welcome to Ruby Rapids Island 2.
In Ruby Rapids Island 1, we learned how to start building a site just like Facebook
that we called Treebook.
Treebook was pretty basic and only involved posting status updates.
On this island, we are going to add friendships and groups to Treebook.
Let's try that now with a quick code challenge.
Let's say that we have a user object that we call 'user1' who has an array of friends.
We want to add another user object, 'user2', to that list of friends.
[Creating Friendships] [user1.friends<<user2] Type the word User1
followed by a dot, followed by the word friends.
Then, type two less-than signs and a space and the word User2 and press enter.
