Wrap Up1:16 with Pasan Premaratne
That’s it! You have made it to the end. Congratulations!! Let’s wrap up.
[Pasan Premaratne] Congratulations, guys! You've made it all the way to the end.
Let's take a quick recap on everything we've learned.
We started by going over the pros and cons of freelancing and whether the career path would be a good fit for you.
After that we looked at where you could find your first job and how to go about understanding your client and their project.
Making money is an important part of freelancing, so we then looked at how to price your work
and how to distill all that information into a project proposal and quote.
Since some of us might be new to this game, we looked at how to break up our workflow, how to manage time effectively,
and how to get a project done in the best manner possible.
We also looked at how to invoice your clients and make sure that they pay us on time after we've done the work for them.
Now not all clients are nice and some might try and take advantage of us,
so we studied contracts and the different ways they can protect us.
Finally we wrapped up by looking at how to form a company and taking care of our finances and taxes.
Now that's a lot of information to cover, so take some time and let it sit.
Watch the content again. Do whatever you need to understand the information effectively.
But most importantly put it into practice.
Incorporate the advice into your workflow, and soon you will have a flourishing freelancing business.
