Content Marketing2:14 with Dan Gorgone
Content takes many forms: the text you read, the images you look at, the videos you watch, the files you download. Content is the reason users are on your site, and if they don’t find it there, they’ll go somewhere else.
Things to Consider
- Do you offer lots of content to convince users why they should buy your product or use your service?
- In what ways do you provide constant content updates to your site regarding the products or services you offer? How often do you add this material to your site?
- Have you received positive reviews or testimonials from satisfied customers or clients? If so, have you included them on your website?

It's too much.
One mistake many business owners make is underestimating
the importance of website content.
Content takes many forms--the text you read, the images, you look at,
the videos you watch, the files you download.
Content is essentially the stuff that users want.
It's the reason they're on your site.
If they don't find it there, they'll find it somewhere else.
Every site has a different focus, so the content you provide on your site
needs to promote your primary product or service as well as yourself
as a company or individual.
These different forms of content will help convince users of the quality of your work
and provide reasons to trust you.
Consider your target market as you generate content.
You should be creating it with them in mind.
How will this content help educate or excite them?
How can it help them accomplish their goals?
Here are a few common examples of effective ways
to use content for marketing on your site.
Offer a list of the key features of your app to make it easy for users to understand
why they should give it a try.
Don't leave it to the imagination or let competitors steal your thunder.
Show a side-by-side comparison of your pricing and benefits between different packages
or versus competitors.
This helps reduce the work for your potential users when selecting between similar options.
Post screen shots or a video walkthrough of your app's feature
to show beginners how to get started or to show more advanced users
how to further their experience.
Some users need to see what they're going to use before committing.
And provide written testimonials for product reviews.
Thoughts from experts and other trusted sources can speak volumes
for prospective customers, so be sure to highlight that feedback.
Remember the more great stuff you provide, the better the chances are
that users will share it with others.
Make your content the best it can be and maximize your chances
for generating more business along the way.
