In this course, we'll be working with version three of Sketch. 0:00 So if you happen to be using version two, 0:03 it's highly recommended that you upgrade so you can follow along with the videos. 0:05 It's important to note that Sketch is a Mac only application and 0:10 it requires you to have OS 10.9 which is Mavericks or above. 0:13 So to get the latest copy of Sketch, if you don't have it already, 0:19 you need to visit this page. 0:22 Here you can buy your copy of Sketch. 0:25 You will want to download Sketch first and 0:28 you can do that by clicking the Download Trial button on the left. 0:30 To buy Sketch, and remove the trial limitations, press Buy Now and 0:35 fill out your details on this secure page. 0:40 Now Sketch is downloaded, we need to open and register it. 0:44 But before I do that I'm just gonna move it from my downloads folder over to my 0:47 applications folder. 0:51 You don't need to do this but it's generally good practice to do so. 0:59 There we go. [SOUND] You can register the app at any 1:03 time during the trial period. 1:08 But I'm going to do it just now. 1:11 To do this, 1:13 we need to click Sketch in the top left of the menu bar then, Registration. 1:14 We paste in our license key, confirm, and that's it. 1:22 Sketch is now registered. 1:27 Now we've downloaded and successfully registered Sketch. 1:30 It's time to check it out. 1:33
