Practice Makes Perfect!0:59 with Jason Seifer
It's important to practice the concepts we've learned throughout the course. Check out the documentation below and remember that practice makes perfect!
In this course we've learned all about the basics of how Ruby works.
We've learned how to create and run ruby
programs, how to run ruby interactively, using IRB,
and how to work with strings, numbers, as
well as create methods and give them arguments.
It's important to practice what we've learned.
Try assembling your knowledge, in creating different programs, based
on the concepts that we've learned in this course.
Some sample ideas, are maybe a
questionnaire application, that asks for someones
name, age, and favorite books, and then displays it in a formatted way.
You could also do the same thing for movies and ratings.
We've already learned, how to look up documentation.
In the notes for this video, you'll find links to
the documentation for strings and numbers, to help you when practicing.
Great job and keep up the good work
