Video Quiz: The Treehouse Store - Conclusion0:58 with Dan Gorgone
What did you decide would be the best way to improve the call to action on the Treehouse Store product page?
So what would you do in this situation?
Well, we want to take into account everything we've learned
about the use of color, text, images, and navigation.
We want to make our call to action stand out against the background,
so turning it into a button would help a lot—that way, it's easier to notice.
It looks more clickable, and users will know that there's something to do here.
We want to give it a text label that's easy to understand, as well.
"Click Here" doesn't give any helpful information,
but using simply "Add to Cart" can provide the meaning
that users understand, especially if they have any experience shopping online.
It would also be great to use a different color with the button
and the easiest way to choose a color is to look at the ones we're already using.
Here in our logo, you can see we have a great bright green color to use
and that will stand out against the background here on the page.
