Let's Get Started0:51 with Kenneth Love
A quick overview of what we're going to talk about in this course.
All of the pieces we've learned so far.
Strings, lists, dictionaries, classes are just building blocks for bigger and
One of the problems with building great things is that they often
become really messy.
As you've probably come to expect though,
Python has things in place to help clean up any messes you make along the way.
In this course, we'll be looking at rules for
how to write your Python code so it follows traditional conventions.
Writing your code to a convention helps your code to blend in with
the code written by other people.
And makes it easier to spot mistakes.
We're also going to learn how to write doc strings.
Which let our own functions and classes provide their own help text.
And to help us when things go wrong, we're going to learn about logging and
using the built in Python debugger, PDB.
We have a lot to cover, so let's get started.
