Treehouse TeacherHey JD,
We have no plans to teach C++ on Treehouse, at least not in the near future. If you're looking for a book, C++ for Dummies is a pretty great. It's actually how I first learned to program many years ago. :)

4,601 PointsThanks a lot Nick. I will grab that book. Love the Dummies books. They've helped kickstart me in other subjects. I have no plans to become a major C++ programmer either, wanna go the javascript, jquery, php or ruby route, but it's a required course for school. Can't hurt. Have a happy New Year!

39,199 PointsTreehouse focuses on web & mobile app programming. However the folks over at Stack Overflow deal with programming in general and they are very helpful over there.
I'm a big fan of Stack Overflow (as well as the other major Stack Exchange sites).
