Feedback on the colors in my navigation bar

Here is the pic:

The logo is just font and I am currently working on a new logo. I would like to know what people think about the color combinations I am using.

If you have other color combinations you recommend please let me know. I can change it to light background or anything you recommend.

The rounded background color would be the mouse hover color.

I think it looks fine so far. I like that shade of purple. My eyes are expecting another accent color... green maybe?

Looks good. It makes a lot of sense to match the color in your logo as it helps to create some branding consistency across the site.

The purple is nice. Good contrast.

I'm not a big fan of black as a feature colour, but that's just personal preference. As long as it works with your brand and the rest of the site design, there's no reason to change it.
