iOS Design Templates Too Small for iPhone artboard

After selecting the iPhone 6 portrait artboard (750x1334px), the buttons from iOS Design Templates, such as a title bar (375 x 20px), does not fit after copy and paste just you have done in the video.

Apologies about that, Melissa. We had hoped to have an update out to Sketch before the course went live where artboards would be the smaller size to match the templates.

To fix this, select your 'iPhone 6 – Portrait' artboard, and press the Scale icon in the toolbar. Type "50%" in the scale field and press OK. This will make the artboard 375x667 and anything pasted in from the template will now fit the artboard.

That update that fixes this will come out soon, I promise!

So I can be forward compatible when the update comes out, will it will be making the iPhone artboard 375, or will it be making the iOS Design Templates 750? I would think the the former, so @1x @2x and @3x all worked as expected, but wanted to verify.Thank you.

Matthew Arieta, the assets in the template will stay the same size, and it'll be the artboards whose sizes will half.

Thank you from me as well! I do have an issue after all though; when I select the artboard, then scale, type 50, and enter - it acts as if it registers the command, but doesn't actually scale anything. Thoughts?

Strange, I've not heard of this issue before. Does it still refuse to scale if you enter in the size manually? Width: 375px, Height: 667px

Something added to 3.3 is a live preview when you enter in a value in the scale sheet, so you can see the changes before you press Enter. Hopefully this will fix your issue.

@Christopher, that did work, thank you.

Thanks for the answer. Been puzzling me for a few days now and always been scaling the templates up to match the artboard.
