Recognizing badges earned in a company

We are using Treehouse internally for training in our company. I'm trying to think of ways to "display" an employee's accomplishments in the office. If they were doing a "traditional" training program, they would have certificates and such that could be displayed in the office to honor their achievements. I prefer Treehouse over more "traditional" methods of training - and I'd like to find a way to display their accomplishments.

One thought I've had is maybe printing off the badges and creating a "badge wall" for each employee since we're a fairly small company with just a few employees. We have a long-ish hallway that customers walk down when they visit the company, and that would be a perfect spot to display their accomplishments. Is there a place to download all the badge icons in EPS or AI format to use for printing...?

Or does anyone have any other suggestions...?

if you have a local intranet why not setup a system that places updates on the bulatin board comemorating staffs achievements like passing this topic or getting this many badges alternitivley if you want a more physical aproach you could group them up into awards like this

passed 1 topic
certificate

pased 5 toppics 5 dollar gift certificate

passed 30 topics some kind of award trophy or something of that matter or you could get them a nice work related gift like that new keyboard theyve been wanting or maybe a coffee mug that says ive done this

We don't have a local intranet at this point - we're not quite big enough for that just yet.

I like the idea of giving them a physical award for achieving a certain number of badges though - I hadn't thought of that.

I still think I want to come up with something our customers can see as well. Maybe I can create internal framed certificates for the larger sections of badges - like the Web Developer learning path. And then combine that with smaller rewards - like coffee cups, gift certificates and prized tech for number of badges.

Thank-you for the suggestions!

Make sure to reward your employees with thing they actually want like money in the form of bonuses or raises, extra time off, etc.

You might be wasting your time and insulting your employees with coffee cups and gift certificates, unless its a big one to the Apple store.

I understand that money might be tight, if that is not an option, try stock in the company.
