i think this could be wrong

if (noun.equalsIgnoreCase("dork")) ||
      noun.equalsIgnoreCase("jerk"))
  {

try this:

if (noun.equalsIgnoreCase ("dork") ||
      noun.equalsIgnoreCase("jerk"))
  {

i deleted a single ")"
