So I just noticed that everyone in the forum has their points next to their profiles. (I am not in the forum to often).
I have been a member for some time now (2 years) and have racked up over 8,300 points.
Generally I do lessons in sprints. Doing a few lessons and then taking a long break (sometimes months) while I refine my skill locally.
My question (as I am yet to see anyone higher ranked than me) is if there is place we can view how we rank in points or skill to other members?
Not that I am competing :)
I know there has to be someone with more points than I.

16,771 PointsI'm involved in far too many online coding schools to even try to compete here. Congrats on your 8K though!

Courses Plus Student 14,966 PointsMight have to blast through some of the easier ones to get those points racked - currently having a love hate relationship with the JavaScript course

Courses Plus Student 6,126 PointsI haven't been on in months so first time I've even seen the points system, seem to be doing OK.

24,414 PointsPoints really don't matter to me. Show me what you can do with what you have learned this far.

18,518 PointsThe points are fun, but even having 9k, I still go back and watch old videos to refresh my mind.

12,680 PointsIt would be fun to see some sort of 'live' infographic to see our position/points against other members on the site. Guess I have a long way to go!
Chase Lee
29,275 PointsMe too. With only 3,000 I'm sure it will take a while.
James Barnett
39,199 PointsYou can make your own like I did ...
I wrote a script proof-of-concept using the Treehouse teachers as an example team. It's up on github at barnettjw/treeboard
live version: http://treeboard.mooo.com/
If you wanted to make your own leaderboard
Step 1) Make a list of Treehouse usernames you want to track
Step 2) Sign up for Ducksboard
Step 3) Create Custom Ducksboard widget
Step 4) Install script

18,518 PointsJust as an FYI. Your link isn't very mobile friendly. I'm sure it's fine just on a PC screen. I'm a geek on responsiveness these day.

39,199 PointsDerrick Mull - Thanks for the feedback, it's actually designed to work on tablets and up.

7,369 PointsI agree that points doesnt matter really but it helps in keep going but its more important what you learn and oh well , so many points , and no one started python :D guess C/C++/C# is much better than it :D well i guess you cant do , or program everything with C.
Points are fun!
