Where is zepto?

I downloaded a recent version of Foundation (today's date: 10/20/2014) and zepto is not included in the full download.

Does the new version of Foundation support zepto?

Should I find the zepto.js file online and link to it manually to continue with this video series?

Will there be an updated video in light of such changes?

Thanks!

Hey, Estevan Montoya and Dustin Matlock.

The final stage of Framework Basics titled What's New in Foundation 5 covers all the latest changes & updates made to Zurb Foundation.

CSS Frameworks is also on my list of topics to refresh. :)

I was about to ask if there were plans to update the Framework Foundations course to the most recent versions....very happy to hear it's on your list!!

Hi Estevan, it looks like ZURB decided to drop Zepto.js for speed, and other reasons, now favoring jQuery 2. I think the concepts are still the same in how to work with a framework, so the course is relevant. However, it's possible more updated versions will be released in the future. Please understand, these things: frameworks, JavaScript libraries, etc., all tend to change rather quickly these days.

Thanks for replying. It actually seems like a few things are different in Foundation 5 that may confuse a newcomer with this video. Had I not known html and how to follow the doc guide on the zurb site, I wouldn't have known what to do.

I would agree with you. It seems when major / functionally different changes are made to a framework, development / design tool, etc., teacher's notes which included the current state of the course, might be helpful to students. Passing this onto Guil Hernandez, Nick Pettit and maybe they can get this to the rest of the Treehouse Team. It is somewhat of a daunting task to keep up with, though, I'm sure..
