Learn to Build Data Dashboards with AI

Most dashboards start with charts. The good ones start with a decision.

In this track you'll pick a real question you personally want answered, then build a dashboard that answers it. You'll define your audience, your metrics, and what a useful outcome looks like before you visualize anything.

Then you'll do the unglamorous work that makes everything after it trustworthy: collecting a personal dataset, stripping out sensitive information, resolving missing values and duplicates, and standardizing dates, categories, and formatting so your analysis rests on something solid.

With clean data in hand, you'll use AI to explore patterns, trends, and outliers, and you'll learn to verify every conclusion it hands you. Check the math, question the assumptions, weigh the sample size, and recognize the claims your data does not actually support.

From there you'll build. A first working dashboard in Claude, then the chart choices and visual hierarchy that turn numbers into a story someone can read at a glance. You'll use your own dashboard to make a real decision, watch another person use it, and turn their confusion into a spec for a polished custom version designed with Claude Design and built with Claude Code or Codex.

You'll finish by making the dashboard reusable for any business profile, adding a CSV refresh workflow that lets you review what changed before it goes live, and adding user accounts so each person's saved work stays their own. Then you'll stress test it across calculations, accessibility, mobile layouts, and error states before publishing it to a live web address.
