Ok well I can help you in the iOS field, and as far as tutorials on treehouse, no there is nothing on that exact note but lots of similar content. I googled it and found this which is from a great website on iOS for making a magazine in iOS.

but if you're new it might be worth checking out all the other intro to iOS (and other languages) here on treehouse.
