Your answer is close, but there are a couple of issues:

  1. Integer has to be spelled with a capital i.

  2. When you reference a variable like answerToLife you are not meant to put quote marks around it. Quote marks are only used when creating strings.

  3. You spelled the answerToLife variable as answerTolife on line 2. The capitalization has to match when you are referencing variables.

If you fix those issues like this:

String answerToLife = "42";
int answer = Integer.parseInt(answerToLife);

Then your code will work.
