Java Java Basics Using your New Tools Multiple Format Strings

Create a new variable called name and accept input from the console using the readLine method.

I wrote String name = console.readLine(); but it shows syntax error

Multiple.java
// I've imported java.io.Console for you.  It is stored in a variable called console for you.
String name = console.readLine();

Hi Smitri,

donΒ΄t forget to place some text inside the parenthesis to inform the user what to do. An example would be something like this:

String name = console.readLine("Your input goes here: ");
