$ git push our_clone master gives 2 fatal errors

Hi, my code and the error message is as follows:

my_really_cool_project johnperry $ git push our_clone master
fatal: 'our_clone_project' does not appear to be a git repository
fatal: Could not read from remote repository.

Please make sure you have the correct access rights
and the repository exists.

Any suggestions? I'm stumped.

Thanks, John

Have you used

git init

to set up the directory as a git repository?
