Can you let me know what is the error am comitting am assinging the inputValue

There is no method named "getElementByTagName" (singular). Perhaps you are thinking of the method named "getElementsByTagName" (plural) which returns an element collection? If you use that, remember you'll also need to select a single element from the collection to access any properties.

Also, the instructions say to set the text content, not the "value".
