Networking Thursday

Hey Treehouse Students!

Welcome back to another Networking Thursday, where you can make connections with other Treehouse Students.

💬 How to participate:

  1. Answer the icebreaker activity – What's your favorite snack to pair with your coding or design work?
  2. Share your LinkedIn profile URL for other students to connect to.
  3. Share links and/or screenshots of the projects you've been working on.
  4. Share your interests, hobbies, etc!
  5. Chat with other students here by responding to their posts!

We're all on this learning journey together!

I'll kick things off! ✨

I'm Ryan Mouser, the Content & Community Marketing Specialist here at Treehouse. My pronouns are he/him. I was 15 years old when I started learning to code in PHP for a popular text-based MMORPG game.

I've been with Treehouse for over 3 years now and have had the amazing opportunity to wear many different hats. I've been learning with Treehouse since 2015 (you can check out my previous profile here).

Outside of Treehouse – I love to play/write/produce music, take long walks, and kayak.

You can connect with me on LinkedIn here. Looking forward to connecting with y'all!

👋👋 Hi everyone! I'm Andrew! I'm from Woodbury, NJ (just outside Philadelphia) 👋👋

Honestly, eating while I'm coding is distracting, so I usually just chew minty gum if I need something in my mouth 🍬

🚀 Please connect with me on LinkedIn! 🚀

I've recently been plugging away at the Full Stack JavaScript TechDegree. My current project is a library catalogue leveraging Express and SQLite. You can view that and all my other projects at www.andrewhickman.me

In my spare time, I enjoy running, playing the piano, and reading books about anything from productivity to online marketing. I've also been spending way too much time playing Red Dead Redemption II lately 🤠🤠

I'm really looking forward to connecting with all of you and wish you the best of luck on your journeys!! ✈️✈️

Hi Team of fellow learners, My favorite snack ever is actually croissant + some malt extract, I love the way croissants mix with the malt extract , giving me energy to concentrate during my learning time-slots.

Hi Michael,
Just visitied the website and it looks great, I specially liked the effect on the projects part of it, and it is also nice the effect on your description.

One suggestion if you don't mind, have you thought of adding a subject line when they contact you by email?

Hi folks! I'm Kim Hayes. I've been with Treehouse for a year and am also graduating from Flatiron currently. I don't eat at my computer, but I always have either a cup of coffee or a soda, glass of water or a monster. My current projects are a game of concentration and turning my website from plain old html into a react app. I'm currently in the python track.

Glad to see someone else working on the python track, I still haven't worked with React as I still struggle with Javascript as it is, but hopefully, I'll get it soon.
