Business Copyright Basics Getting Started with Copyright What Can Be Copyrighted?

Let's say I made a website or You, then some of your website design is the same as the other website. Let's say "Samsung" and the design that looked the same is the header navigation bar would this be copyrighted?.

The code itself might have a copyright but not the visual appearance it creates. I think what you're talking about would be more related to trademark than copyright.

Either way, rights are not automatic and would have to have been applied for by the owner and granted. And anything protected by either copyright or trademark should be clearly marked as such.
