"Use HTML Elements."

I have completed 6 of 7 Steps of HTML First except "Use HTML Elements." Every time I complete the task, it says go to the next stage. It takes me back straight to "Use HTML Elements." How do I progress to the next?

You'll have to do it manually through the course overview, in the mean time you should probably contact Treehouse support.

Thank you for taking the time to respond to this. I will follow your advice.

Thank you Dave McFarlard, I completed Challenge Task 1 of 6. When I try to complete Challenge Task 2 of 6, that's when it gives me the 'Bummer' message.

Hi Rhys Klu,

In the 2nd step of this challenge, it asks you to "Create the HTML element that will serve as the document root."

All it's asking for is the element <html> and nothing more. I saw your screenshot via email, and, if you add more than what it's asking for, there's a chance it could confuse the Code Challenge engine. So in the 2nd step, make sure you include the opening <html> tag and the close </html> tag just after your doctype.

I hope that helps!

I apologise for the late reply Nick Pettit.

Thank you for your help
