İ want to make some applications for computers.

Hey, i want to make some apps for computers not web developping. So, where can i start ? İ just have this site to study. What am i meaning about computer apps ?

  1. Like Games -I dont mean GTA 5 like games of course. Game add-ons or some coding in game-
  2. Like usefull add-ons
  3. etc. Help, Lead me please :)

You can make games/apps with almost any language for PC. Java is the most popular and using the track that we have here would be a great start. There are many game dev websites including gamasutra and gamedev.org/net that have helpful information to indie game developers. Don't be afraid to ask questions on your journey as game development is not a linear thing. I find the program Unity to be great at developing games with. It uses C# and/or JavaScript. There's tons of plugins/addons/content that you can download for free or purchase if you want more quality things. I guess primarily I'd point you to Unity. They have tons of tutorials on their website as well as a massive amount of youtube videos on just about everything.

thank you for your answer. But i dont wanna be a game developer, i want to be a part of it or doing some not game included add-ons for computers. i mean programs
