2 different .java files

Why are 2 different java files being used in these videos? Is in not possible to put everything in one?

Yes, you can generally fit an entire program into one file. Just because you can, doesn't mean you should, though. Separating them into different files makes things easier to read and easier to maintain, because then related things are obviously grouped together, so even when a project gets really big with lots of moving parts, you can still find and change things easily
