7,956 Points2nd Code Challenge Task in additional pseudoclasses
The challenge is:
Create a new rule that selects the 3rd list item only. Set the background color to the HEX value FF6347.
My code is :
/* Write your CSS below */ li:nth-child(even){ color:white; background-color:black; } li:nth-child(3){ background-color: #FF6347; }
yet I keep getting error message "Bummer! null"

3,116 PointsI asked the same question in the discussion right below this one. Someone just sent an email out to Treehouse, the response back was that they are on Holidays and will be back on the 30th. The challenge also seems to be a duplicate challenge as the previous challenge for psuedo classes.

7,956 PointsI had thought I had just done that one before.

4,467 PointsI was just about to come here and pose this exact same question! Agreed, Chris; it definitely seems to be the same as the previous code challenge except that the code is no longer working. When I check the code it looks good, but I am getting the same "Null" error message as you guys. Frustrating, but I'm glad I'm not alone on this one. I guess we'll find out when they get back.
Happy New Year!

Treehouse TeacherFolks,
Sorry, this bug was introduced due to some changes we were making to challenges. We've rolled those changes back until the problem can be fixed.
If you have any further issues, please e-mail help@teamtreehouse.com . If you can include the URL of the particular challenge where you're on, that will help diagnose the problem more quickly. Sorry for the trouble!

7,956 PointsSeems to be fixed already, when I just restarted the challenge to get the URL, there was a new 2 questions challenge.
