42 Year Old Too Old?

Does anyone think I have a disadvantage at 42 entering the the Web Dev market?

I'm currently on my way to completing the Wordpress Dev Track and I want to be a PHP/Javascript backend programmer mostly in addition to being a Wordpress expert.

Do you think companies would hire me at this age? Do you think there are any problems with doing freelance work at 42 as a backend/Wordpress developer?

thanks for any advice!

thank you. I think 42 is fine for entering the field as a developer.

Thank you for the links. I just hope that there's still enough demand for web developers.

I think it largely depends on what city you live in...But there is demand.
