Hi Brian

Your closing tags are red because you forgot to add the ">" after the href.

You didn't properly close all of your anchor tags - missing a ">".

Your code:

          <li> <a href="index.html"Portfolio</a></li>
           <li><a href="About.html"About</a> </li>
           <li><a href="Contact.html"Contact </a></li>

Correct code:

           <li> <a href="index.html">Portfolio</a></li>
           <li><a href="About.html">About</a> </li>
           <li><a href="Contact.html">Contact </a></li>
