I don't know where to write this so I am just going to add it to the general discussion.
I just wanted to say a big THANK YOU :) to the treehouse team for helping me get the skills needed to land the job I always wanted in web development. I came here knowing nearly nothing and since then have gained skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, MYSQL & PHP. The advertisements where Ryan Carson says that you can be job ready in six months is not an exaggeration. To all of you on here just starting out I know it can seem like all the information is overwhelming and sometimes you feel like you are not making any progress, but just stick with it and trust me, before you know it you will be coding away and think "omg how did I think this was hard".
Again a big thank you to treehouse for helping me change to the career of my dreams. And to everyone else keep in there it will all pay off soon :)

Real classes with try-it-yourself challenges as well as a really awesome staff of teachers. My learning has sped up immensely since I joined :)

Just a quick question, when you went for the job how did you display the skills you have learnt? Did you create a portfolio of work etc?
