switching between the different pages changes the size of the navigation text sometimes for some reason. I agree that you should brighten the image thats on the home screen

Home The Main image is unconstrated but if its a placeholder i'll ignore it however why is your background grey and the rest of the site is white for the same spot.

Foward Very poor choice of color and font as your light grey on white makes harder to read and your font choice is more suited for headers or small paragraph of text i would recommend that you use a serif font or a sans serif font that is not condensed font better readability

Jeffs blog same comment on font your font dosent have a good readability also if your pallette is grey and brown you shouldn't have the bright red for read more and you should use a brown atleast 20% lighter than your dark brown with a hover of either gray or 50% lighter brown. As for your sidebar i would push it further to the right to have balance. or i would either center better the content so its balanced either side

Header / Footer For the Footer your text sould be bolder and you dont need to repeat twice 2014 however next year i would add to the 2014 - <? echo date('Y'); ?> so you dont have to update the Year. I would not recommend the use of small caps as on the menu and header your using all caps

Maybe a bit more line height.

Hey Gary Hurd, my only suggestion at this point is to add more text to the home page for SEO purposes. It's not completely clear what the site will be about or for, but some additional text on this page can help clarify that for people visiting it, and for search engines indexing it.

I thank everyone for their comments and suggestions. I met with my client last night and he loves the site, it was everything he wanted and asked for. The concept of the site was a book, that is why the home page was in a different color and very little text. So thank you to everyone. I will say that I think that when giving criticism, that both positive and negative are given, not just negative one. With all of us being there to support each other, I like to give both the good and the not so good. Just maybe something to consider going forward. thank you to all again, and this topic is now closed.
