24,998 PointsA little suggestion about project files download.
I really love to learn programming here, its pedagogic style is one of the most well thought on the web, and there are a lot of topics too choose for a reasonable amount of money. Personally I love to watch the video with 2 times the normal speed (which is a great feature), do all of the quizzes and safe the project files as future references.
Having said that, I notice something that bugging me, and I feel that it will be better if the teamtreehouse pay attention to it. It is about the project files download. Having done nearly all of the HTML and CSS courses (now working on SASS), I realize that there are a lot of ways to download the file projects:
Some courses are providing the download options for the part of project files in every videos (when there are X videos, then there will be 1/X part of project files in every videos download link).
Some courses are providing the download options for the stage of project files in every stage (when there are X stages in the course, then there will be 1/X part of project files in every stages download link).
Some courses are providing the download options for all of the project files in the beginning of the course, and provide each parts in every stages/videos. And usually, the one who did this is Guil (thanks a lot!).
And so far my most favorite is the 3rd one. Why? Because I can download all of the project in the beginning of the course, and I can just navigate through each folder via text editor while looking at the course (Yes, I know that workspace is great, but I still love my personal choice of text editor. :D). In addition, the way Guil separates each steps into initial and final state is great. So my suggestion is, could you please standardize the way to download the project files to the last one (including the past courses too)? I really love it, and I am sure it will be a great addition to the web learning experience. And after all, shouldn't the consistency be one of the most important things in UX?
In the end, I believe that the teamtreehouse team is always learning from their past experience (yes, I notice that the way you presented your course is becoming better and better from comparing your past and recent courses), so please give us the option to download all project files in the beginning of the lesson. Because this little thing will noticeably enhance our learning experience.
Thanks before for your attention and kind response.

5,186 PointsI agree with Wahidyan.
Also a nice (and simple) improvement for Workspaces webpage section could be adding (currently there are the fork and settings button) a download button, so we can directly download the workspace without opening it. When downloading the file name should be the workspace name instead of "project.zip" avoiding to copy/paste the title and renaming the file.
