17,665 PointsA method called balance isn't working for me. Thanks!
Here is what I have:
def balance balance = 0
@transactions.each do |transaction| balance += transaction[:amount] end return balance end
class BankAccount
attr_reader :name
def initialize(name)
@name = name
@transactions = []
add_transaction("Beginning Balance", 0)
end
def debit(description, amount)
add_transaction(description, -amount)
end
def credit(description, amount)
add_transaction(description, amount)
end
def add_transaction(description, amount)
@transactions.push(description: description, amount: amount)
end
def balance
balance = 0
@transactions.each do|transaction|
balance += transaction[:amount]
end
return balance
end

11,679 PointsLooks like you're missing a closing end
for the balance method. Otherwise looks great!

17,665 PointsThanks Geoff! I've tried with and end, it says 'Try again!'. So I'm not sure what is it that I'm missing.
