AAPT?

I have an error stating: Error executing aapt: Return code 138

The online forums are very confusing. Can anyone explain what this is in regular english? It seems like a general error that could have many sources.

AAPT is the "Android Asset Packaging Tool". This runs when you build your project and converts everything from your res directory into formats that fit into your final app. Chances are there is an error somewhere in one of your resource files, like a layout file or maybe strings.xml. Those can be hard to track down sometimes. :(
