About code challenge breaks.py

def loopy(items): # Code goes here for item in items: if item[0] == 'a': continue else: print item

this is code i have used, but I always get error try again Like to know the reason for error

def loopy(items):

    for item in items:
        if item[0] == 'a':

        else:
            print item

You're on the right track. The problem lies with the print statement. Add some parentheses around item and you should be fine.

You forgot, parenthesis for print. it will run fine for Python 2 but for python-3... parenthesis my friend.

def loopy(items):
    # Code goes here
    for item in items:
        if item[0] == 'a':
            continue
        else:
            #print item ---> parenthesis missing.
            print (item)

Any way this is how i would do it... just an idea... no show-off.... just an idea =D . Have fun coding. :)

            print (item)
