About event.target from this course

I just watched tutorial from this course, I saw when they call the event target on UL variable, they set the event.target to checked. But the checkbox its not directly from the UL variable s child element. So, i just want to know the reason, why this happen?

Thank you so much and hope you guys can help me out.

e.target is targeting the button u presss on, so when u press on the checkbox u actually get a reference to this checkboz. you can try it by console.log(e.target)

Sorry for the late reply, thank you so much!
