ACTIVATING A CUSTOM THEME...

hey there,

So ive been following along great up until now. I understand everything up to and including the MAIN STYLESHEET video.

however...

The ACTIVATING A CUSTOM THEME video has lost me.

Zac starts off immediately in the admin section of wordpress... how the hell did he get there? we were working locally, just viewing the project files off our desktop... the next minute he's in the admin section of wordpress with zero guidance as to how he got there.

I have all my files in htdocs and i can see them on my local host, but i cant figure out how to get to the admin section of wordpress to activate the theme in wpportfolio. he never went through the steps of installing wordpress locally, database etc...

i successfully followed the other wordpress section "5 minute installation" and all that and i got my site up and running online using the actual FTP and cpanel stuff, but i cant figure out how he's installed wordpress and got into the admin section while working locally the whole time.

do i need to repeat steps from previous section and apply them in the Allison Grayves example (which is where im stuck)?

please help.

john
