Activity Feeds - final stage

I've encountered a problem when I delete a status or picture in the activity feed.

When a status/picture is deleted, the activity is not deleted along with the action. This sometime causes an error in the activity feed view.

How can I implement a dependent => :destroy action on the activity object when there isn't a direct association between the activity and status/picture?
