Actor Bar missing, no idea why

hey everyone.. in the current project I set it up to 4.3 but there is no action bar. The only thing that appears is an empty screen with "Hello world". I was wondering if this was standard now in the new android studio? Or if i had messed up someplace.

Hello,

Did you happen to change the app's theme to one without an actionbar? To help troubleshoot more, we'd need to at least see your AndroidManifest.xml file.

Ah.. Okay thank you. In one of the later videos ben showed the manifest file and I got it to work. Thanks :)
