solution:

index.html
<!DOCTYPE html>
<html>
  <head>
    <meta charset="utf-8">
    <meta name="viewport" content="width=device-width, initial-scale=1.0">
    <title>HTML Video and Audio</title>

    <link rel="stylesheet" href="normalize.css">
    <link href='http://fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=Nunito:400,300' rel='stylesheet' type='text/css'>
    <link rel="stylesheet" href="main.css">
  </head>
  <body>

    <h1>HTML Video and Audio</h1>

    <div class="wrapper">

      <video controls>
        <source src="http://treehouse-code-samples.s3.amazonaws.com/html-video-and-audio/bridge.mp4" type="video/mp4">
        <source src="http://treehouse-code-samples.s3.amazonaws.com/html-video-and-audio/bridge.ogg" type="video/ogg">
        <track label="English" kind="subtitles" srclang="en" src="bridge.vtt">
      </video>

    </div>

  </body>
</html>

The challenge is asking you to add a <track> element without any elements. You can simply add <track> within the video tags.

Add the track tag below the video tag where it says put your code here like this: <track> Add whatever you need to put in here. </track>

That's what they ask for!

<video controls>
        <track>
        <source src="http://treehouse-code-samples.s3.amazonaws.com/html-video-and-audio/bridge.mp4" type="video/mp4">
        <source src="http://treehouse-code-samples.s3.amazonaws.com/html-video-and-audio/bridge.ogg" type="video/ogg">
      </video>
