I feel like treehouse could become more of a practice hub, rather than just a course video hub, the code challenges don't really challenge you like practice problems in books do.
What if you took a bit of an ixl.com codecademy.com hybrid approach, where theres vast banks of random problems and most importantly more points for different difficulties
How about a training mode (with its own icon on the task bar) that would spit out random subject specific practice problems (similar in length and difficulty to what programming books have at the end of each chapter). If you added points to this feature it would be SO addicting, its tough to stay motivated sometimes in the real world because there are no points.
Maybe you could even have training mode specific points and course specific points. As well as options for parking problems and coming back to them later. bronze silver gold difficulties, and the possibilities for achievements would be endless

13,023 PointsI love this idea and would definitely use this. BUT I don't think this is something treehouse will be doing anytime in the future. INSTEAD why don't you build this! I am sure treehouse could teach you enough to build this site. It could be a great asset to treehouse users and an amazing portfolio item!

24,848 PointsThese are the stuff, I came up with just in 5 mins. I am sure, I can add many more, if I spent more time on it:
- Many people use their Treehouse points as some kind of a certification. So, if there was a practice centre that increase your points, it would be really useful for that person in both experience and future work wise.
- It will be easier to discuss 'best' solution for that practise.
- It will add value to Treehouse and will attract more users to have paid accounts.
- Treehouse can make practise centre only available to Pro accounts and many existing Basic users will upgrade, including myself.

13,023 PointsYou have some interesting points. I would love to see this feature but doubt the gains Treehouse would receive would be worth the cost of implementing it right now. Maybe someday!
