Python

Add "special" characters (like square brackets) to the Console.

I'm on Mac and the flow to write down square brackets is alt+8 and alt+9. This doesn't seem to work on the Console of Workspaces, though :-(

I've tried shift + any number and it works but alt + number doesn't. Is this a known thing? Is there any workaround?

Thanks a lot in advance!

Normaly it's alt+5 and alt+6. Check your Keyboard settings...

I wish it was that easy :-( Alt-8 and Alt-9 do the square brackets everywhere else except in the console. I also can't use any other characters that require me to press the Alt key. I appreciate you taking the time to reply, though! I think I will reach out to Treehouse's support.
