You've almost got it. Remember most challenge questions build on the previous one. The first question asks you to create a navigation with an unordered list under the link. This one is Its asking for unordered list items. The list item element is the <li>.

Challenge Question #2: Inside the navigation element, create three list items with the words, “Portfolio”, “About”, and “Contact”. Don’t add links yet.

This passes for question 2.
